What is the best and fastest way to learn spanish?
took two years of spanish in high school and i tried like those workbooks that are suppose to teach you spanish and also looked at a few on-line sites never really tried one. I still cannot seem to learn it i live in a area where there are a lot of spanish speaking people and i feel i would benefit and be able to get better jobs if i were bilingual. any ideas on good ways to learn or good programs that teach you a new languagee plz.
Try to meet and hang out with people who speaks spanish. Look for spanish music, get into spanish classes (not workbooks) so you can meet this people and practice.
See spanish movies or TV programs in order to get how we talk. Once you get a little of practice you can try and have an on line friend to whom you can write and practice as well.

The best and fastest way isn’t necessarily the cheapest or most practical – but, go to Spain for a year.
I think that practicing Spanish with someone who is a fluent speaker may help you. Someone speaking to you in Spanish will force you to think what you’re going to say and how you’re going to form your sentence. Don’t forget to memorize the gender of the words! Very important.
