I want to understand more about why America feels the need to not teach english to the illegals?Cause if we went to their country they would expect me to learn their language. I think to help them learn English we should give more classes on speaking English instead of Spanish classes.
i dont have the disipline to learn languages online through those webssites and no money for tutors. But is there like a chatroom type thing where people teach each other spanish or any other language?

If immigrants are not willing to learn English why do they move to the US? This seems rude to me. If I moved to another country I would try to learn the language of that country. In addition why is so much info in English and Spanish? What about other non-English speaking people. Why not [...]
Most Americans don’t even know how to spell, don’t know the tenses and don’t know all regular and irregular verbs. and why do they tend to form closed communites with no connexions with the spanish people and spanish culture ? Why a big part of them expect locals to speak their language ? I know that some of them learn Spanish, but not the majority.
i want to do something worthwhile, possibly linked to immigrants who are in north america, australia or europe who want to learn english.
For example, not brave enough to start speaking English because still thinking that he’s not good, and because of that, it slows his learning speed. Or too much theory can actually wreck one’s English. What do you think? Thanks!
