    well kanji is basically the Japanese version of Chinese writings. I dont know much But i Know that On yomi is the Chinese based readings and the Kun Yomi is something like the Japanese readings.

    Rather than to learn about 2 characters, I’d rather listen about methods to tackle the 1945 常用漢字.

    Similarity:
    電話 means telephone
    Japanese: denwa
    Cantonese: din wa
    Mandarin: dian hua

    japanese is a hard language indeed but that doesnt mean im giving up im going to japan or tokyo to learn this if i have to stay there for a year i will but how will i ask directions? 0.o

    It’s kanji for places not literally the word for place. THe places being book stores and post offices. :)
