way to bunch all cartoon type entertainment/series together. there are so many different animes that you cant just discard the vocabulary of “anime characters”. your video wasnt funny to me, and it didnt provide anything other than shallow smacktalk. maybe you have spent too much time watching anime.
i learn it by my uncle who a teacher over there in okinawa but when i can’t talk to him i look up some anime for fun word to know when i’m around friend that love anime . i love the video thought it was funny so did my brother
I lol’d at the video…then I lol’d at the comments of all the narutards trying to defend the fact that they use this method XD
LMFAO!!!!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!! XD
Only Koreans can truly learn Japanese through anime; our grammar structure and even the words’ pronunciations are extremely similar. Watching anime is especially good for listening because the actors are forced to pronounce perfectly due to the viewers not being able to see the lip movements, therefore they’re almost at a news anchor’s level. But none of this helps if you don’t know basic Japanese and a few hundred words
@SaberOtaku That there is pure BS. Don’t tell me you believe in 日本人論. Yes koreas are the only people that can learn it through anime. Yes and Japanese people can only learn Japanese. We can’t learn Japanese. We might as well give up on our dreams. It ends the suffering now right? NO. I can see why it takes years to learn Japanese. Nobody has any hands on experience and they blame themselves instead of the proces. We’re not noobs in this world and so aren’t you. Anime is BEAST.
what about japanese drama? :O
*whistle,whistle* he’s HAWT
Ofc I wont watch Anime To learn Japanese! We got MINXY!
I couldn’t resist faving this video, haha :’D
@fdsfdaafsd I’m sorry, I couldn’t understand half of that… And sorry, I don’t know much about the 日本人論. All I wanted to say was: Animes are good for listening, but won’t teach you much unless you know some Japanese already, and it’s even easier for Koreans to learn from animes since our language is very similar. And NO, don’t give up your dreams! Anyone can become fluent in Japanese! There’s a saying: “The genius < The hard working < The passionate". The '<' sign is for lesser-greater than
@fgzf Japanese Drama will definitely help you more, but that’s if you can actually follow their speed. There will be lots of irregular terms (slangs, abbreviations) which you won’t see in textbooks, but if you have a pretty good understanding of the language (about proficiency level 3?) you should be sweet. Sadly, their dramas aren’t as good as their animes, which is the opposite to Korea, lol!
I admit- I did try to learn Japanese from anime! >_<
But, okay, I won't learn that way anymore
…
And yes, I love your hat. I'm SO jealous.
I actually stoped watching anime since I’ve been studying Japanese… I need to catch up soon… But I do watch a lot of dorama (way to much) ^^
You left out the most important part.
You never told us where we could get your hat.
@MotionFur Well, unlike anime, old Western films are actually good to PRACTICE English.
@treentje Hey, can you suggest some good dramas to me? I really can’t find any good ones.
@KeroDono as for japanese dorama’s that I’ve really liked; 1 litre of tears, 14sai no haha, aishiteru, atashinchi no danshi, dragon zakura, futatsu no spica, hana kimi, hana yori dango, itazura na kiss, hotaru no hikari, Mr Brain,Kimi wa petto, koishite akuma, my girl(asahi TV) ohitorisama, otomen, Papa to musume no nanokakan, Taiyou no uta , mei-chan no shitsuji, samurai high school, yamato nadeshiko shichi henge, GYNE, JIN, Bloody monday, lair game, love shuffle…. OMG I am addicted…
i watch animes for 7 years now and i definitely didn’t learn the language with that, but after my second visit to Japan i decided to go to a japanese class every week for 2.5 hours. And after 1.5 years now i can say that i still don’t learn anything from animes (ok some vocabulary here and there) BUT it strengthens my grammar knowledge. I’m always happy when i recognize a sentence pattern or something that i learned. So it IS a great supplemental tool.
@mehdidjadir Oh dear. South Park isn’t a good educational tool, you know.
kaizoku oni naro wo kokoda! worst translation ever of attempting to say i am going to be teh pir8 king!
@tenryuu hehh…. are you alright man… what is the point of south park
Well, you didn’t say to not learn Japanese from watching Jdoramas sooo….
