几岁了? isn’t it mainly used for asking children their age ? For adults more usually 你多大了。。。。。。

@jinfenguk hi! I think 你多大了 can also be used for children as well. it is ok to ask adults 你几岁了，but probably not 你多大了， especially to senior people. hope that helps. Cheers!

对，不同年龄的用法不同。。。不过教的时候先教基础的。。。
要用到“贵庚”或者“高寿”，都已经不是初级汉语的范围了。

@mbtheja This is the Chinese way of saying “How old are you?”. In Chinese you can either say “How old are you?” as 你几岁了？ or 你今年几岁了。 Both are correct sentences with grammar applied.
