The first one dealt with bankruptcy and income tax liabilities with the IRS. There are four types of bankruptcy, Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13. | Bankruptcy will stay on your credit report for 10 years and will have an impact on car loans. One condition that must be met is the proof that all taxes have been filed for the past four years.

Who says lightning doesn’t strike twice? In the past few weeks I have been asked two separate questions not once but twice that I haven’t heard of in a long time.

The first one dealt with bankruptcy and income tax liabilities with the IRS. I guess with the economy the way it is, more people are planning or have gone though bankruptcy. The income taxes owed can be discharged in bankruptcy if they are at least three years old when the petition is filed. The three year period starts from the time the tax return was filed even though this might be later than the statutory date. But the discharge will not exempt the taxpayer from fraud penalties and it will not forgive payroll taxes and trust fund taxes. (See below) It will include late filing penalties. If there was any property that was originally attached by the IRS and not sold at a tax sale still belongs to the taxpayer. But if he goes bankrupt the title than goes over to the trustee. Bankruptcy can have a greater long term effect on the taxpayer than working out a payment plan with the IRS. Bankruptcy will stay on your credit report for 10 years and will have an impact on car loans, (paying a higher interest rate) and difficulty in obtaining a mortgages and credit card(s). One condition that must be met is the proof that all taxes have been filed for the past four years.

There are four types of bankruptcy, Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13. Each is unique in its own right and should be discussed with a bankruptcy attorney. It should be noted that in all cases the prior year’s tax return must be filed and paid. If you can afford to pay the taxes and choose the bankruptcy route, the IRS can seize the money and assets and the debt will be dismissed from the court action. Continue reading…

Arthritis is the inflammation in the joint which is common for the people over 40 years old. There are over 100 types of arthritis.Symptoms for arthritis is the pain and tenderness in joints .You can prevent arthritis by 5 easy steps.

Maintain a normal weight throughout your life. More the weight more the pressure on the joints likes hips, knees, ankles.Cartilage in the joints may break as the ages goes on.It is said by doctors 1 lb of weight is 3 lb of pressure to the body.

Exercise regularly.Let the fat, carbohydrates that are acccumulated in your body be burned by sweating!Frequent exercises make the bones and muscles healthy and flexible.Inactivity is the arthritis sufferers worst enemy.

A well balanced diet is the backbone for preventing arthritis.Cut down the fatty, oily foods. If you have arthritis, say bye to burgers, finger chips.Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet.Include more fibre in your daily food.Gout,an arthritis is caused my more meat.Cut down your meat intake everyday.

Drink more water every day.Water has the tremendous power to reduce arthritis.I personally have experienced this. Drink one litre of water every day .It should be consumed in the empty stomach.Never drink or eat any thing for one hour. Not only your stomach, colon are cleaned but also your arthritis will disappear .All the chemicals deposited in your joints are washed away by water.

Avoid injuries to the maximum. Injuries may result in arthritis as the years goes on.Never overdo any jobs.If you do more weight lifting at home, office you may develop arthritis very fast. You easily forget the simple fact that you are putting more pressure in the joints.
Arthritis is preventable ,provided you take care of your body in advance. A well balanced diet with regular exercises guarantee the result.

The levels of cholesterol in your body determines how healthy your heart is. There is the “good” cholesterol called HDL which stands for high-density lipoprotein and the “bad” cholesterol called LDL standing for low-density lipoprotein.

Raising the levels of the good cholesterol reduces the levels of the bad cholesterol and this improves one’s health. There are a number of things one can do to raise the levels of HDL in their body.

5 Ways To Boost Your Good Cholesterol (HDL)

Lose Weight: It’s important to know your body mass index (BMI)so that you are aware of your body fatness. If it’s higher than the recommended BMI, then you know you have to lose weight which you can achieve by being involved more in physical acitvity as well as eating the right foods. This will therefore increase your HDL levels.

Do Not Smoke: When you quit smoking, it really does increase your HDL level by 10%. Go to a doctor or someone who can help you in ways to go about quitting.

Excersise Regularly: Being physically active is a good way of boosting your HDL and improving your heart’s health. Take walks, jog, swim and participate in any activity that makes your heart beat increase.

Eat The Right Fats: Foods rich in saturated fats should be avoided. These include bread spreads like margarine, packaged foods and fast foods. Choose monounsaturated fats instead. These can be found in fish, olive oil and nuts among others.

Take alcoholic drinks in moderation: If you drink, there is a limit to how much you are supposed to consume in a day. For men, do not take more than two drinks a day and for women, do not take more than one drink a day.

Changing your lifestyle by making the above choices will boost your HDL hence improve your heart’s health.
